Oh FGT to continue resolutely defending the indefensible you do need to read up more about the £5m.

either or both...

The Essex police haven’t denied that.
They just haven’t confirmed it.

NF secured a thousand more votes in Clacton’s by election than he did at the GE. And that’s with a much lower turnout.

I’m pleased for him.

Now let’s await the findings of the investigation concerning the £5million donation given to him personally by a benefactor. I think this was given to him before he became an MP? I’ll have to check that.

X posts but worth repeating his lies anyway

Tuliptree Fri 14-Aug-26 07:03:37

Well he’s lied again. He said the police had advised him not to turn up, the police have flatly denied this. Colour me amazed

Farage has apparently cancelled a press conference he had planned for this morning. Journalists are suggesting this is because he doesn’t want to face questions about why he claimed he was told by Essex Police not to attend the declaration due to safety concerns. Essex Police have contradicted this.

Returning Officer Ian Davidson told the BBC that there was a gold command officer at the count with a team of plain-clothed officers and the declaration was deemed safe for everyone.

Lee Anderson talking to Charlie Stayt on BBC Breakfast saying Essex Police are liars and that Count Binface was working for the BBC.

Reform is not a serious political party but a circus.

All this election has proved is the old saying that you can fool some of the people all of the time.

Well done to Count Binface. 9,455 votes versus Farage’s 22,239, only 1,014 more than 2014 when no serious party was standing.

If Farage is recalled and Giles Watling stands again, as he has said he is willing to do, I reckon the Tories could retake the seat.

Up to Daniel Greenberg now, the Standards Committee and the House of Commons.

Complete failure by the Tories and Labour over the last 15/16 years (or more) that the people of Clacton have voted for Farage. I wonder, do the voters actually know what they are voting for, what Reform’s policies are, makes no sense if they do, Reform are not going to help them. Depressing.

Tuliptree Fri 14-Aug-26 06:56:31

Apparently he didn’t turn up because of security concerns. Interesting isn’t it that both he and Trump play the security card allbeit in different ways. Well the Parliamentary investigation will resume now

BlueBelle Fri 14-Aug-26 06:49:38

Now does he have to face his £5 million gift

BlueBelle Fri 14-Aug-26 06:48:59

Well I m ashamed of the people in Clacton

GrannyGravy13 Fri 14-Aug-26 06:47:45

Mamie

He said Count Binface is part of the establishment. He did not bother to turn up for the results of the vote. He seems to think a thousand odd votes versus a dustbin is hugely significant.
Hmm.....

They are discussing his non show at the count in TV at the moment.

He got 63% of the vote.

Yes, Nigel has won the by-election with approximately 1,000 more votes this time than in the 2024 election, according to ITV breakfast news…
