FGT, any enquiries into wrongdoing by Mr Farage by the Parliamentary Standards Committee, National Crime Agency et al have " taken a long time" because proceedings were halted during the campaign period .

But now they can go ahead!
So Farage has gained nothing, just a few months in which to try to find a way to get away with accepting the 5 million from Harborne.
And he has used the people of Clacton in order to gain extra time.

The reason people don't like Farage or want him as an MP anywhere is because of his association with George Cottrell convicted of fraud in the US and giving money to reform.

Farage is also being investigated for the 5 million from Harborne who wants his crypto currency business in the UK.
If people want an MP who associates with known criminals then they are likely to get these foreign backers of Reform and Farage here in the UK.

Just doubled checked - 4:8 of Reform MPs have never faced the electorate as Refotm candidates. They were elected as Conservatives and not one had the guts to face their constituents after their defection. Whereas their leader faces his electorate completely unnecessarily - no I don’t get it either

This is reminiscent of the morning when Dimbleby announced “The people of Britain have voted and they voted to …….. Leave the EU”. His disappointed face was a picture. 😭

But people don’t just get over things Primrose. The majority of us don’t get over things that we feel strongly about, rightly or wrongly. Indeed you yourself probs feel strongly about some things yourself that you would not like to be told to just ‘get over’.

I think it’s very amusing that the Farage haters are scrabbling around like rats in a bin looking for any scraps that they can use to discredit his resounding win. He won - just let it go. The people of Clacton have decided!

So many had hopes riding high on Binface. Bound to be a disappointing. No whoops of joy this morning.

I don’t think anybody at all expected Binface had any hope of winning FGT2? He got more votes than expected or predicted, and Farage did not get as many as he expected, I suspect most are content with that.

I’m not making this up, I checked on AI for a summary.

Complete failure by the Tories and Labour over the last 15/16 years (or more) that the people of Clacton have voted for Farage. I wonder, do the voters actually know what they are voting for, what Reform’s policies are, makes no sense if they do, Reform are not going to help them. Depressing.

It would have been a bit difficult for the good people of Clacton to vote Tory or Labour when neither party fielded a candidate.
