I am appalled that an old lady has been murdered in her own home. It is utterly shocking!
I still abhor her views and it is OK for people to say that.
At this time?
Basic common decency?
It is NOT 'OK' to say that, even less so following the news that she was murdered.
I do not recall people criticising Jo Cox for her political views, just overwhelming sympathy for a woman murdered and a family bereaved.
Respect for the dead?
Respect for her family?
Respect for people who genuinely grieve for her?
There will be plenty of time to discuss her impact in politics in the future and express your opinion.
Now is not the time.
