Burnham the so called 'King of the North' got another Labour MP to resign in Makerfield and forced PM Keir Starmer to resign because he wanted his job.

That seems to be what's happening so two choices:

Binface v Binfire.

It is not the same but it was instigating a by election for personal gain, it does I am afraid provide farage with a bit more ammunition than if Makerfield hadn't happened.

The Tories have just confirmed that they won’t be standing a candidate in the by election. It looks likely that Farage’s bluff has been called.

^I quite agree, presumably he can stop the investigation into his finances now as he's not an MP & if re-elected scrutiny only applies to finances during the last year.
