This story seems to have gone cold. The latest update I could find was on the 21 May. Is it being investigated?

They may not be the majority, but they are silent, every time you ask for a reason, an example or an explanation about why they support Farage.
Silent.

StoneofDestiny Thu 04-Jun-26 21:50:22

the silent majority are with him?

Are they silent because they haven’t the vocabulary to articulate why they support a blatant liar, trouble making racist and a fool who pushed for Brexit promising the UK all manner of benefits and prosperity, while actually pushing us into an economic decline and isolation that Trump has taken advantage of! Not to mention the fact that Brexit caused the ‘boats’ to appear en masse with no capacity for us to send illegal migrants back ! Farage’s boats!

No need to be silent / do enlighten us all what exactly you imagine Farage can offer us when he doesn’t even turn up to Parliament and rarely even visits his constituency. Has he done anything for his constituents? - let me tell you / he has not!

You took the words out of my mouth Cossy.

Some wind-up merchants on here tonight - perhaps there’s a full moon🤔

Cossy Thu 04-Jun-26 21:42:37

Methinks we have some “jokers” on here.

New names I just don’t recognise.

I do understand people supporting other parties, other leaders, other politics, but people suddenly popping up claiming Trump and Farage are great leaders and that their supporters are the “silent majority@… 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ 🙄🙄

Not very silent on here and far from being the majority. Trump and his famiky growing richer because of his policies, Farage cut from the same cloth. Shocking man

👏👏👏👏👏👏

I agree , the silent majority are with him . How anyone can support 2TK is beyond me.

How ANYONE with any respect can support Farage is beyond me.

I think you highly overestimate your “silent majority”

The majority of Farage fans I’ve come across are far from “silent” and I simply don’t believe they are a majority!

From what I’ve witnessed, seen and heard with my eyes and ears, the majority of Farage fans are either noisy bully boys or people whose fears and insecurities have been played on.

Either way, I certainly don’t think they’re a “silent majority”

It was a gift, big or small, a gift is a gift they try every trick in the book to discredit Farage, same with Trump, both great leaders

You have got to be kidding. Is your statement a joke? Trump is the worst US president ever. He has ruined America and it will take decades to repair the damage he has done and continues to do.

TBH I don’t think Farage supporters care a jot about his £5 million ‘gift’.

Just like they don’t care about his racism, his misogyny and his lies. They know who he is, like we all do.

They will defend him, regardless.

I feel very dispirited about my country at the moment.

Sounds alot like Trump. He is not doing very well. He has ruined America, any relationship with Europe and most of the world. How is Brexit going? I can't think of any benefits gained.

How do you you know if they're silent. hmm I'm very pleased I'm not a part of any silent majority.

Plevey08 Thu 04-Jun-26 19:28:51

I wish my autocorrect would change Farage to Fuc! I'd fill in the rest 🤣

Chocolatelovinggran Thu 04-Jun-26 19:09:23

jakuss, I see that you refer to Mr Trump as a " great leader".
Mr Trump publicly mocked a man with a disability.: shame on on him, shame on anyone who supports him.

I feel Trump is approaching the crash and burn stage as he moves towards the mid term elections.

I am fervently hoping Farage will reach his crash and burn stage by the time the next UK GE comes round in three years time.

StoneofDestiny Thu 04-Jun-26 17:18:14

So very obvious the US cranks, Musk and Trump, are behind everything Farage is doing. Them and their money men trying to become even richer crypto billionaires.
How anybody thinks Farage speaks for, or acts for, anybody but himself is beyond me. He really can only feed off the under educated who cannot see beyond his sound bites.

Susieq62 Thu 04-Jun-26 16:41:55

CarS we have yet to have concrete evidence of any attempts on his life! Nothing reported to the police or security whereas my own MP ( female) has had to deal with horrific abuse by certain elements of our population!
Nobody on this forum should ever stand up for Farage and his lack of respect for Henry and his family. At least he got his comeuppance at PMQ yesterday.

I thought NF just said what most of us think. Whereas 2TK was his usual unemotional dead-behind-the-eyes self.

(I can't ever see him without remembering the awful photo of him 'taking the knee' after the death of the American drug addict and serial offender)
.

I feel the same about that photo of him taking the knee. Just a publicity stunt imo.

LizzieDrip Thu 04-Jun-26 16:39:48

So CarS if the £5 million is for security, why hasn’t Farage held a single surgery in his constituency … citing ^security concerns^🤔

Both things can’t be true.

If he’s got £5 million to pay for security, that should easily cover regular surgeries … to which his constituents are entitled.

Surely you’re ok with that🤷‍♀️

Cossy Thu 04-Jun-26 16:29:33

CarS

The guy has had attempts on his life and been attacked. The reality of being in England now it seems given we have lost two MPs is Public places. The money is/was for security. I'm ok with that

He doesn’t go anywhere or do anything which constitutes security of this nature! As an MP, like every other MP, Farage will get an allowance for security.

Cossy Thu 04-Jun-26 16:27:54

Its/ a pity Farage didn't follow in Starmer's and his cronies footsteps. i.e. - deleting all the awkward bits from his reports re offering Mandleson that job!

If you want to start yet another thread about Starmer and Mandeson, please do so. Whataboutery and deflection on the N&P threads are extremely annoying.

Oh dear!

It was a gift, he didn’t declare it and now he’s stated it was for security? Security for what? He’s rarely in Clacton, he doesn’t run surgeries, he’s barely in parliament?

TheatreLover Thu 04-Jun-26 16:23:33

Reform has received £9 million, mainly from crypto billionaires, in the first three months of this year, more than twice that of Labour and the Tories which each received about £4 million each from private donations in the same period. Between them, Farage and Reform's donations account for about one third of all private money flowing into politics in the first quarter.

There are seriously wealthy benefactors who want a Reform win at the next General Election. I wonder why?

Cossy Thu 04-Jun-26 16:22:49

farage is nothing more than a cheap copy of Trump. He’s dishonest, racist, exploitative and self seeking. He doesn’t speak for me or anyone in my family or friends.
He’s dangerous, incites violence with no care for those hurt

👏👏👏👏
