By removing the offensive post within the OP’s post, one might as well remove the entire thread, if she hadn’t used the original offensive post, the entire thread loses its impact and meaning (in my humble opinion)

You are right about one thing, the words this “gentleman” used were very offensive and like many others, CV is not my favourite person. To speak of any woman in this way is frankly appalling.

I’m afraid, for me at least, it simply illustrates the attitude of both Reform and Restore, as their outdated and sexist views of women in general are well publicised.

From what I’ve read about Carol I’m pretty sure that she would be 100% behind the OP. She’s surprised me in recent years by being very politically active and vocal.

Are you suggesting you were actually unaware of the offensive comments Kenyon made before reading this post. If so the post was educational for you.

Instead of limiting discussion by cleansing/removing Kenyon's offensive words - would be better to suggest Kenyon offers an apology to CV for his offensive words I would have thought. Better to direct any anger and censure you may have where it rightly belongs- Kenyon.

Now that would serve a much more useful purpose, if Kenyon is man enough and grown up enough to apologise. That would set a better example to teenage boys and young men in Makerfield.

Why should we cower from and hide Kenyon’s on line comments in the public domain? He’s accountable and responsible for his words- not me and not CV.

Young women and young men need to visually see the specific comments being called out and found unacceptable. Otherwise incremental acceptance ensues and Tay h comments are condoned and then in time, the norm.

I disagree with you. I think people should know what this man "liked" and what kind of person he is. Without the actual words, it's difficult to conceive just how disgusting they are. If you're shocked, just think how Carol Vorderman must feel.

FWIW I'm not a great Carol Vorderman fan. I think she's an irritating attention seeker. Nevertheless, nobody should have to put up with that kind of vile comment.
