I completely agree.

Just as I agree that both Jewish and Islam communities, across the world, deserve to live in peace and harmony and go about their daily lives without fearing for their lives.

The appalling Israel and Gaza situation has been going on since the end of WW2, I have no answers there, what Hamas did was horrific and unforgivable, but I cannot sit and say nothing about what is currently happening in Gaza, it’s utterly heartbreaking.

The Unite the kingdom was solely about hate. It was divisive and dangerous stirring up trouble against Muslims and others. Unfortunately there are many people in this country who don't want Muslims here and they were on the march instigated by Yaxley-Lennon.

I agree with you absolutely. I think the police should have been more pro-active against the hate banners.

I can't imagine that anybody was on the YL march, who didn't know what it was all about - hate.

twaddle whether he was an activist, whether he deviated from his usual route, along with the fact the Police officer was allegedly trying to protect him, are irrelevant.

The footage was shown on the news (all channels), if it was the editing that showed the incident in a different light then they and their editors need to be held to account.

It keeps being repeated as an antisemitic incident. I really don't think it was. The police officer was naive and handled it badly, but I think was genuinely trying to be helpful. The man concerned was unnecessarily walking straight into the Palestine march. It wasn't his usual route. It looked as though he wanted a reaction. The police officer reacted as he probably would have done if he'd seen a child walking in front of a car.

It's not worth repeating.

Pro-Palestine marchers chants in the past and a few on Saturday have been global intifada along with from the river to the sea and there have been Hamas flags, clothing depicting hang-gliders

Which was blown out of all proportion. The individual concerned was a known lobbyist (not that there's anything wrong with that, but he wasn't the innocent he claimed to be) and wasn't on his usual route back from the synagogue. The police officer didn't tell him he looked "too Jewish", but the man was wearing a kippah and the police officer was trying to protect him.

It's the repeating of incidents like this which contributes to urban myths and bad feeling.

Intifada means rising up, the shaking off of oppression, what any occupied nation has the right to do.
As for river to the sea as far as I know it’s used by both sides presumably the wish for freedom.

As I said upthread, all hate chants should be legally challenged.

Were the organisers of the Nakba march at the front, chanting hatred?
Yaxley Lennon, organisers of the Unite march, spoke against Islam on camera.
Is that one of the differences?

But, and it’s a big but until such time that the countries surrounding Israel, let Iran funded terrorist groups set up bases in order to attack Israel I cannot see a lasting peace in the Middle East. There sole aim is to wipe every Jew off of the planet

Netanyahu has gone too far, hopefully with elections looming he will be deposed, and negotiations can begin.

I am concerned about the ongoing global intifada even our current PM has voiced his concerns over this. Along with the pro-Palestine marches this is fuelling fear amongst the Jewish community here in the U.K.

There are many radical Imams on social media, advocating death to all non Muslims maybe we should hear more from peaceful Imams both here and across the world.

I haven’t heard of Jewish women being publicly mocked at any of Saturday’s three events, so I can’t comment.

However, if they were, then I’d be equally disgusted. Why would I think any differently?

I happen to think that any woman being mocked, belittled and used in front of a baying crowd is utterly disgraceful.
