He's accuses the media of having "come up" with that narrative.

I think what Pope Leo's doing is admirable and agree with Fallingstar that in doing so he's been elevated in the eyes of non believers and other Christian denominations.

Some US Evangelical Christians do not believe Catholicism is a valid religion. It is one of the reasons, IMO, why Vance is so unpopular in certain sets of MAGA. Well, that and his wife isn't white.

His behaviour reminds me of my BIL, who was a difficult person with many of Trump's traits. He developed Alzheimer's, initially we thought it was just "him" but we soon began to see that his mental capacity was decreasing as his behaviour became more erratic. Trump's very similar, he's lost the qualities that some people liked and has become vicious and obsessive. He needs to go.

Sadly I think you are right. I used to work with people with dementia and it is a common story of the illness creeping up on a loved one and everyone accommodating the eccentricities for a long time before realising what is really going on.

Excuse my lack of knowledge here but isn’t it in the Bible some where that the Antichrist will come out of the West? Seems to me that Trump is a perfect fit for that.
The picture he posted shows the true, frightening depth of his delusion. He needs to be sectioned.

The trouble is he is surrounded by very dangerous individuals every bit as sick as himself. If he were to go we would get Vance who is a total head case.
