I wonder if it might have made the news in different times - there is just so much other world news seizing the spotlight.

Iran executed by hanging one of their own yesterday. He was an 18 year old who dared to protest about the brutal evil regime in his country. I pray our government does not let anyone supporting Iran into this country1 I will not hold my breath.

If the Iranian mullahs get the bomb climate change may become moot.

I was aware of this as I watch several US channels every day.
In my opinion the German station DW is generally the most informative.
Just this morning there was a long talk by 4 German commentators ( one being a green member of the Bundestag) who were unanimous that Germany is falling behind with green energy policies.
The reason being as told by the green member: it is threatening our financial security.

Thanks for commenting positively, I find it difficult to post controversial things and expect to be shot down in flames especially around climate change issues but the problems are worldwide and seeing the bigger picture in a verifiable news source is important.

Perhaps if the moron Trump wasn't constantly hogging the headlineswe might actually get the real news, like this. Climate change responsible, maybe? Drill baby, kill.

That is so scary and tragic. And am afraid disasters like this will continue and increase. If only world leaders would invest more in guarding against the effects of climate change rather than throwing billions at killing innocent people in wars.
