Sickening antisemitic attack.

The Jewish community are a tiny percentage of our population, yet seem to attract a vastly disproportionate amount of prejudice and hate.

The vile antisemitic thugs that set the ambulances on fire didn't care whether or not anyone was physically injured, it's just fortunate that nobody was. The lasting emotional damage to people from such attacks needs to be recognised.

How anyone can target ambulances is beyond me. It's so low - akin to targeting children or the elderly. And yes, the emotional fallout will be huge. There is already generational trauma in the Jewish community, and this sort of thing will make that worse.

Shocking. Hope they are caught soon.

Seems nothing has been learned from the past. I am horrified by this attack and hope the Jewish community is supported in dealing with this.

This is just disgusting and frightening, knowing that people have so much hate directed against a Jewish community.

Sickening - up there with the foul people at Bondi. Imagine if it had been any other group - there would be an absolute outcry and uni students would be flying flags and going on marches.

It's horrible.

I don't think the outcry is any lower than it would have been for 'any other group' though. And these days it is far from only students who protest and march. I'm not sure what the point of a march would be though. Usually marches are a way of showing rebellion or discontent against the government other than to garner public support for a cause.

In this case a march might show solidarity with the Jewish community, but a government spokesman has already said that if this is shown to be an anti-semitic attack (which it surely must be?) they will do everything in their power to stamp it out. He mentioned education initiatives, but they can take so long to filter through that I think they need more immediate measures.

Thank goodness it was just the Hatzola vehicles and no person was injured.

Appalling. I do fear for our Jewish people when thugs like this are on our streets.

Very worrying news.

Unfortunately I fear that certain groups have no limit to their depth of their hate.

Voluntary Jewish ambulances, run by a Jewish charity, have been set alight in a car park in Golders Green North London.

How much more hate can be thrown at one group of people in our country?
