That's why we have International laws FriedGreenTomatoes2 to arbitrate, one country's idea of morality may not be the same as another's. I don't believe this war has been started for the right reasons, others on here have a different view. I'm sure we all think we have the "moral" high ground!

Trump has reached a new low now, he was talking about the attacks on Kharg Island and said it is more or less obliterated but there may be more attacks “just for fun”. How is this odious human being allowed to get away with what he does?

It's a nightmare and I think you are correct.

The thing is, Iran doesn't have to 'win', just survive.

Israel is running out of interceptors and it seems the US is looking at their own stocks running low.
Iran have a non stop supply of drones and are not giving up as Trump hoped.
This needless war is causing problems across the world and Iran may win.

Perhaps Iran would not have been aggressive if the UK and US had not engineered regime change and removed a democratically elected Prime Minister. They replaced him with the Shah, who systematically looted the country's wealth, tortured the opposition and generally alienated the impoverished population so they thought an Islamic regime would be an improvement. Israel has nuclear weapons but for some reason no one seems to object to that, but perhaps Iran feels it would be safer if it also had nuclear weapons. Who knows, I certainly don't!

Not really. Of course they will survive as the US and Israel aren’t wanting to harm civilians, tho war being war that will sometimes happen.
Iran will do the usual boasting as will Trump, but Iran has had a beating that will take a long time to come back from, both militarily and economically.

Oh, I'm in NZ, but have a British passport. Have read a lot, studied a lot, lived a long time, much of it in the UK, which I adore. But that doesn't alter the fact that we should accept our faults.

Yes it’s not our war. We don’t care about Israel and Iran’s never ending battles with it.
It’s not our war - we don’t have the money or resources to fight any war.
It’s not our war - guiding Iran to hold some semblance of democratic elections doesn’t concern us.
The only thing that moves us is the price of oil and food, the fact that we are not energy independent and the fact that we are becoming poorer by the minute. In more ways than one.

Perhaps it's time to become energy independent?

What they consider to be survival most likely differs from our view.
The Regime has demonstrated that they don't care about the citizens.
The religious extremists possibly believe that martyrdom is an 'upgrade'

The US and Israel have caused this situation and now find they aren't coping. They are asking other countries to risk their personnel and ships to get them out of the mess they have made
