I have questions.
Tuliptree says she hopes a book by Fergie would be the end of the royal family, and others have spoken about bringing down the monarchy. Can someone explain to me exactly how this would happen? A motion in Parliament? A referendum? And does anybody really believe this would happen because of something a disgraced former duchess wrote in a book, ( presuming she is now a ‘former’ duchess)?
Then there’s the talk of paedophilia. Who has been proven to be a paedophile ( attracted to pre-pubescent children)? Vile and exploitative though he was, I don’t think Epstein was a paedophile.

And why would Andrew go to prison? Being a dirty,sleazy old man isn’t against the law.
I’m curious as to why people seem more interested in Andrew’s sleazy behaviour than wondering how he funded his lavish lifestyle on a £20,000 a year pension. I wonder if maybe his former position as a ‘trade envoy’ for Britain may have helped, perhaps with Sarah still acting as his ‘agent’?

Please listen to the interviews given by the man who wrote Andrew’s biography ‘ Entitled’. He goes into financial stuff. I’ll try to find a link. It all goes way beyond paedophillia. And a lot of things had to be left out of the book for legal reasons.

Surely even if they were too dim to understand there must be have been someone on site who knew what was going on.

All it says is that emails suggest that Jeffrey Epstein once requested Sarah Ferguson to have Princess Beatrice or Princess Eugenie show a redacted person around Buckingham Palace. However, there is no evidence confirming they actually performed this tour, and the, BBC notes that in one instance, the Duchess indicated they were not available when requested.

Surely the ever present security staff would have known everything. They will have signed NDAs but the police security must have reported to their seniors? Or am I being naive?

So? His father and grandmother were free agents, if they loaned money to his uncle he would have had no control over that decision, just as we wouldn’t in the same circumstances. For all we know he violently disagreed with their decision and wanted Andrew to go to prison then.

I have just read that the twelve million pounds Andrew used to pay off Virginia, was in fact a loan from the late Queen, Philip and William.
Even though it was a loan, it’s said he ‘hasn’t paid back a penny’

According the news the loan was from the late queen, the estate of Prince Phillip and Charles.

There was no mention of any money being loaned by William.

Why are they constantly in the news. I think they all knew what Andrew and Fergie were like, they just covered up to protect the Firm. That particular family unit are like leeches.

I believe Charles gave some cash as well. All trying obviously to hide all the facts about Andrew’s behaviour from the public No belief from them that he should be held to account No cars for the victims. And then came the release of the Epstein files

None of us can know why B&E attended that meeting. Would our children support us by attending a financial meeting, if we were facing bankruptcy?

I have sympathy for B &E, they should not be made accountable for their parents.
More extremely embarrassing information about SF has been published on the BBC website. I fear there will be much more to come. Whilst transparency is essential in this appalling matter, I think there should be some considerations for the mental health of those connected to the scandal.

But in the BBC reporting, it's alleged that Ferguson met with David Stern, (a German business investor who was communicating with Epstein regarding her massive debt burden) to discuss her debts and where she also made some worrying statements about her own mental health - and that Beatrice and Eugenie were with her at the meeting.

I reiterate "alleged" - however if she did take her daughters to meetings about her possible bankruptcy and mounting debts then they cannot have been ignorant of the situation.

I also have faith in William and Catherine as the future of the monarchy, I think and hope they will do their best to instil their children with the right values. I really think they understand what's at stake after the Andrew debacle they must get rid of the dead wood to ensure its survival. On balance, I'd rather have a very slimmed down monarchy than a president.

Sweep aside royal families and sometimes the population gets something as bad if not worse. The French Revolution was bloody and vicious in the end most of the instigators were guillotined. Napoleon followed the French royal family and he went one better and crowned himself Emperor. Russia meanwhile got the Bolsheviks that went well

Umpteen political dynastic families both past and present to add to the ones already listed. Gandhis, Bhuttos Trudeaus, Kennedys, Bush family, Marcos and Duterte, (Philippines) Assad, Sadam Hussein.

I believe Kate and her family made William the man he is today. They are a beautiful couple, inside and out.

I think William is a royal of integrity, guided very much by his down to earth wife. I do hope they have a bit more time to carefully forge out their future rôles before they fully take over the reigns. It would be nice for them to see their children having reached early adulthood first. 🤞

The Monarchy is more than the occasional scandal, abdication or even this possible criminal activity which did not involve the Monarch, just a family member.
