Well at least Kemi acts rather than waffles!
She very often seems to have no idea what she was talking about. First instance, Kemi Badenoch has said that when she was 16 and living in Nigeria she received an offer, and a partial scholarship, from a prestigious American university – most often reported as Stanford – to study a course leading towards medicine, but that her family could not afford for her to take it up. The story has attracted scrutiny because Stanford does not offer undergraduate medical degrees or “pre-med” as a standalone course, and former admissions figures have said such offers would not have been made solely on test scores without a full application. Badenoch and her allies say she received informal or provisional offers from US universities based on her exam results, but she no longer has documentation.
