But, as you see now, when it became clear it was a different one - I said so.

All sorts goes up on social media....all sorts goes up in the mainstream media (who still seem to be largely on the wrong side in this dispute in three countries and Britain is one of them).

Social media as you call it was largely responsible for a lot of people knowing the truth in the first place re some stuff - eg Covid and Lockdown. That was where we first started finding out that those jabs were seriously not a good idea and getting an idea of the direction of travel of WHO and our own government. Our mainstream media wasn't basically telling us.

Mainstream media - one has to look elsewhere to check for much of the actual news still - rather than stuff about celebrities/the Government's opinion on things etc.

I think many of us do what we can to search out the real news - and not what we're spoonfed. Bit by bit we find alternative media that is trustworthy - thinks "If anyone knows suitable English language channels from the Scandinavian countries, Holland and Germany it would be appreciated". I've found that good American one for instance - objective viewpoint from Amy Goodman (rather than official American viewpoint).

Always on the lookout for the truth - and not the governments or one individuals take on how they'd like it to be or what they want to distract us with.

But as you see now, you got the wrong man, believing it was really BN when it wasn’t and it may or may not even be Barak!

It’s likely just a guy in Cornwall doing a conspiracy rant , you need to be careful about what you swallow CariadAgain as do we all.

I've seen enough YouTube videos since 2020 (on various topics) that I think I've learnt to filter out and to recognise a personal viewpoint v. someone who is trying to get out the truth the mainstream news/newspaper often don't publish.

Goodness knows our newspapers are full of articles about 1 or 2 individual people who consider themselves/are considered by some to be "Special" (eg influencers, royalty, sportspeople etc) and huge gaps where The News should be being filled by all these stories about individuals instead of actual news.

We found out over time just how much our government wasn't "telling it like it is".

So we do have to search to find out the actual real news - and what he says is consistent with what we can manage to find out for ourselves.

I couldn't find Kim Everson either.

The only Israeli Prime Minister who has been implicated has been Ehud Barak - and I have no idea whether there's any truth in the allegations.

I've subsequently found that that was the relevant one of their Prime Ministers she's referring to.

Understandable for someone to say who it was at one point and then be reticent about it at another point - given she would have been scared and she had a family to protect. I guess these things depend (ie speaking out) depend a lot on how much courage one has had to demonstrate to get through one's life to date and whether there's enough left to do so.

A new video on this has just been issued by a channel I came across a few months back - called "Kernow Damo".

This latest video is called "Britain's role in Gaza exposed - and it's worse than you think".

Personally - it would be nice if he didn't speak quite so fast. But I know it's obviously because he's got a very intelligent mind, does his razor-sharp analysis and then wants the information out there.....

He's certainly making it his business to keep a pretty sharp eye on all this.

Me - I like to see channels by people who are very intelligent, very cynical and very British - and then you tend to get the best analysis imo and genuine concern.

I've seen a LOT of reports on attacks by settlers. Earlier today I was watching a volunteer doctor from Australia and she was being very graphic indeed about what wounds etc she is seeing in the hospital she's at (full of admiration for her for doing something like that for sure).

The more I look at things like that the more I, quite honestly, wonder if the Earth has got people living on it on the one hand (ie normal people) and another species that just looks as if they're human - but they're not. I'm definitely struggling to get my head round how some others can be so evil. One can often see in their eyes that they are this "are they another species?" people - eg that leading settler woman (Daniella Weiss - if I recall her name correctly). Her eyes tell me all I need to know about what she's like.

I must admit I'm struggling to get my head around how these people can act this way. First we had that Covid Lockdown round the world (and still feeling the after-effects of the way some people are acting differently now) and now we're seeing these "other race?" people being spectacularly evil in their doings and it does get me wondering what the heck is going on.

Well, doesn't it all depend on who is Investigator, Judge and Jury?

Another disgusting assault by a Settler on a 55 year old Palestinian woman in the West Bank. She was harvesting olives when he attacked. She was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
Happens all the time, I know, but this was witnessed by a visitor from the US, and so this story will travel.
The IDF claimed to have investigated, but he reported, in The Guardian this morning, that the IDF actually tried to steer them away from the incident.

It's astonishing just how much has been going on one way or another. I have known the basic gist of what's happening since I was a teenager - but it's not easy to find out more and steadily more and a bit of a shock to the system to realise just how much has been going on. Pretty disillusioning - but my personal take is it's best to know what's happening all round....even if it's the harder route to take...

At the moment there are no foreign troops deployed in Gaza.

They are just part of a Task Force think tank.

I do not want to see British or any other countries forces used as target practice by Hamas.

Whether we like it or not Hamas still have weaponry and they are not unwilling to use them.

I assume these are the personnel who have been deployed. Reuters is usually fairly accurate.

Whether we like it or not Hamas still have weaponry and they are not unwilling to use them.

Its part of the job of a soldier to take on peacekeeping tasks which includes being under fire at times.

That might sound hard GG13 but when you see adverts to join the army peacekeeping abroad is regarded very much as part of why we have an army. They are carrying guns in those adverts, of course!

When we joined peacekeeping forces in Bosnia it brought an end to the terrible conflict there. there are so many parts of the world that are in need of such forces.

Since WW2 having active peacekeeping forces (initially under the UN) has been crucial

I feel grateful they will take this role on, consider it quite proper, and wish them all the best.

I wish them courage and steadfastness.
