You said she had a Catholic upbringing and so did he so not sure what the difference is in that. He was Baptised and Confirmed according to Google, presumably he had also made his First Confession and First Holy Communion.

I wish people would stop bringing Hitler into discussions. He was clearly a deranged psychopath. Charlie Kirk and his followers were certainly not deranged and certainly not psychopathic. Trump isn’t,either, despite what most seem to think of him on here. If I was an American I think I would support him. Not the case ,though and I don’t think he is doing the rest of us much good .

Well I mentioned Hitler but it was because apparently we can't compare what's going on in America to 1930s Germany as his wife was brought up as a Catholic. I actually think Hitler being brought up as a Catholic is relevant information but you can always ignore that.

Faith is used to excuse evil. It’s not difficult to define, because no faith promotes evil deeds, it is people who interpret faith to give them permission to carry them out.

Well after 50 years of wedded ?, I can honestly say that I have never received any kind of note from DH asking what he can do to make me happy.

It doesn't matter that she was raised a Catholic. Someone mentioned things getting like 1930 Germany and ronib felt Kirk's wife being raised a Catholic meant that wasn't true. I pointed out Hitler was raised a Catholic so I couldn't see why Erika's religious upbringing affected that. I still don't see why it was brought up.

Considering that Charlie Kirk was pretty mainstream Catholic in his views, unlike say the Church of England who doesn’t have hard rules in quite the same way, it must be of some interest? If only to be aware of the dangers?
