I've never viewed or posted that wiki page before or looked at it. It's informative and detailed and actually not conclusive one way or another. I looked it up becuase I felt I lacked information.

Some information on aid has come through but its really really confusing - from the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation

"In a statement sent to journalists on Monday night, GHF announced that it had "commenced operations in Gaza" and delivered "truck loads of food to its Secure Distribution Sites, where distribution to the Gazan people began".

"More trucks with aid will be delivered [on Tuesday], with the flow of aid increasing each day," it added.

Handout photos showed just over a dozen men carrying away boxes from an unspecified location.

“The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) said lorry loads of food had been delivered to secure sites and that it had begun distribution to people.

It did not say where or how much aid had been handed out.

The wiki report provides the facts of the cases and their proceedings including the positions he held and the ones he was banned from, and we are left to make our own minds up as to whether he had used his position as PM in the manner suggested.

Yes but since the organisation didn't say how much aid or where or how people were chosen to get to where the funding for the aid came from (US - to prove a point they are "doing" something?)

it hardly sidelines the UN who have the capacity for huge amounts of aid. Perhaps instead of trying to pursue the course it is, which its using armed mercenaries, the GHF should actually try talking to the UN to see if they can compromise?

I just googled for a list of aid agencies working in the area, and it was laid out sideways as I said no particular order.

Completely agree, WWM - all this "GHF" has done is send some aid somewhere or other, under the impossible constraints its trying to work under, nice photos of some men walking away with parcels through his wire fenced path, no idea of funding, its a bit of window dressing imo so they prove "we are doing something"

but it has no future without mainstream funding of huge amounts.

With regard to the UN being ineffectual.

Which bit of ineffectual would you select from their ability to keep Gaza feed, given medical aid etc, month after month on average 500 lorries a day until Israel stopped it.

Thats because they aren't giving any more information than some aid was delivered but not how much or where.

However the whole organisation was set up on the basis of: 4/5 centres for the whole population only

Centres policed by private military presence

People given aid on the basis of passing facial recognition

No provision for those unable to travel to 4/5 centres, ie the most vulnerable.

Thats why the first appointee to run GHF resigned - a former marine, Jake Wood - he''s no soft touch, saying

"“However, it is clear that it is not possible to implement this plan while also strictly adhering to the humanitarian principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence, which I will not abandon,” he added"

workers on lorries shout “men only” women only” .
Watching videos of many young boys clambering to reach aid
Lorries, they certainly are very active

The UN only ever provides peacekeeping forces. Israel has zero interest in peace in its pursuit of genocide.
