Pension Credit is it changing?

There were some changes in 2019, which I confess I don't fully understand. They only affected people in "mixed-age" couples ie. those where one person was above state pension age and the other below.

I don’t see this happening. DWP’s computer systems are too antiquated to cope.

Universal Credit is specifically a working age benefit and not available to those over 67. It could be that there are plans to integrate it with housing and council tax benefit which are available to low income households of any age.

I read something online about people claiming pension credit being slowly changed over to universal credit stating in 3 months. They will get then get a letter and have to apply for it, or pension credit will stop.
Is it less than pension credit or more? Is it becoming law or just being suggested. Does any know? My friend is worried about it but I'm not on pension credit so can't advise her. Thanks
