I would be more concerned if I were Jewish and the cab was displaying the Palestinian flag. Why would an Arab or Moslem woman feel unsafe with an England flag flying? Might they think the driver was a crusader? 🙄

Why would anyone Muslim or otherwise be worried about getting in a cab which was sporting the flag of the Country you live in?

Wyllow3 some taxis, Ubers and black cabs have regularly flown the Palestinian flag in support of Gaza.

They regularly fly the pride flag during Pride Month.

Why has Mr.Khan singled out the England flag?

The O/P is flawed: it tries to conflate the taxi rules with Palestinian flags, but Taxis cannot do this.

Private cars can fly flags as per usual and I'm sure we'll see plenty out on footie days.

Well with the state of the football team they won’t be flying it much longer. Hardly worth getting the knickers in a twist over. It’s got to be the same rule for all. Taxis weren’t flying the Palestinian flag btw, and if they were it would be against the regulations.

Taxis have always flown flags the England flag during rugby 6 nations, football tournaments and of course the union flag during the 2012 Olympics.

I was in London yesterday, I saw taxi’s flying the Pride flag.

Taxi’s are able to have advertising all over their paintwork, just as busses and trains have advertising on them.
