Keir Starmer keen to give 16 year olds VOTE if Labour win

As a 13 year old, I already held political views. Mum and I discussed politics quite frequently and we didn’t always agree. My political views have barely changed over the years but I have (I thing) become more knowledgeable. I’m quite happy for 16 year olds to vote. Like many adults they may only vote if they hold strong enough views. I’d love to see more young people understanding and voting.

It’s been Labour Party policy for years, and 16 year olds can already vote in Welsh and Scottish elections. It’s caused no issues,, and in fact the 16 year olds are taught about it at school., so take it more seriously than millions of adults do.

I am totally against 16 year olds being able to vote.

Primrose53 There aren't many 16 year olds at Glastonbury. It's mostly older, richer, middle class people. They're the ones who can afford to go.
