I do of course, I just thought it was a strange thing to introduce to a thread about somebody else, when the state of the UK government leadership is as it is and has been. After all, with Murrell, Yousaf did what we would expect any leader to do?

SuDomin - the UK is the primary legislature and the Contempt of Court Act 1981 covers all UK.

Mr Yousef will be gleeful this happened yesterday as it took his major Uturn on climate policy right off the front pages. Does make one wonder if he had a hand in the timing.

The implication that Humza Yousaf is a poor leader because he supported other politicians in his party before he knew the truth about them, coming from those who don’t live in Scotland, when the UK leadership has done exactly the same to MPs who transgress, and continues to do so.
I’ve got no vested interest in Scotland, and I think it’s the people who live and vote there who should be critiquing Yousaf’s leadership, on a thread that’s about him preferably, not on a thread about somebody else who he had no part in appointing. I’m probably on my own thinking like this.

When you think of it, Humza backed Murrell as a ‘clear winner’ and gave him his full support.
Mind you, he also believed his buddy’s story on the £11,00p iPad roaming charge for ‘work purposes’!
