Nanatoone
I have no idea what ails the King and it is his private business of course. I wish him well and am glad he’s receiving treatment right away. None of us actually know how long he has waited for diagnosis and treatment as it takes time to develop the various tests and get to a diagnosis. With my hubby (different cancer) it took from early October until the day before Xmas eve to get the full diagnosis. Tests, biopsies, MRI, nuclear scan etc etc. it’s the reality for many. I always assumed diagnosis was a more or less instant thing, it isn’t. Anyway, good luck King Charles.
It can be a very quick diagnosis with the NHS, followed by rapid treatment.
I'm sorry it took so long for your DH to get a diagnosis, Nanatoone.
I hope that a swift diagnosis in Charles's case, followed by prompt treatment, as happens with many now with the advances in treatment, will mean that he makes a good recovery.
