The strange thing is, when you’re shouting racism here is that, had it been a white woman who hadn’t shown her ticket when asked three times, resulting in the police involved and thrown a tantrum, upsetting her son, the criticisms would mostly have been about people wasting police time.
And before you deny that, my brother, who’s in the police force has seen it happen. Think about the critics on here who demand the police do something about Stop Oil protestors -do they only arrest anyone who isn’t white? She should have shown her ticket, regardless of colour or creed. She should have set a good example to her son.
How does refusing to show her ticket and creating a scene reflect on the impression of coloured people? Thousands of people, of whatever colour prefer to give a good impression of their race.
The cumulative and repetitive effect of being questionned, doubted, etc, is one of the negative aspects of our society, but are you saying that it will be helped by somebody refusing to do something that they could fly easily have done?
