I think it's fine for Jewish people to raise concerns, it's not just Baddiel, it's something about devaluing what happened in Germany. He or someone he is retweeting makes an interesting point that in agreeing with 'it's the same as 1930 s Germany' collude with the idea that Jews werent German. I am just trying to think that point through but it's interesting.
I do have some sympathy with this view because "Nazi" and "fascist" are used as general insults for behaviour which is nothing like the way Jews (and others) were treated.
However, in this case, Lineker spoke of the language used and he is absolutely right. There are striking parallels. Jews were "othered" and scapegoated for Germany's economic and political woes and the rhetoric used played a major role. Baddiel must know all this. It must not be allowed to happen again - but to stop it, we need to be aware of the warning signs.
