Just wait until the new agreement with the EU regarding the NI Protocol is announced. Will he be leading those against it, despite the fact that he signed the original (failed) protocol.

Boris Johnson recently tried to divert attention from his financial problems by making a unofficial trip to Ukraine (not on Sunak business). He followed this by claiming he persuaded Germany to part with special tanks for Ukraine (roundly denied by Germans). Now Johnson has stated that in a telephone call, at the start of the Ukraine war ‘Putin threatened me at one point, and he said, 'Boris, I don't want to hurt you but, with a missile, it would only take a minute' or something like that.’ Could it be the support he got when he nearly died with Covid, (unlike the 139.5 thousand actual Covid deaths in England up to Feb 2022), he feels the spectre of his death will divert people from the row over his £800k loan scandal with Richard Sharp, chair of BBC. The latest news is that the senior civil servant Simon Case, told Johnson to stop seeking financial advice from Richard Sharp given Sharp’s imminent appointment to the BBC. This flies in the face of the denials by Johnson and Sharp. But Johnson loves to divert and deny. Yet here today the Kremlin has called him out - once again.

I care about his life as much has he does about mine. I find it amazing how many of you supposed to hate him etc yet you can’t stop talking to him. So maybe worry about your own life’s than ppl who you see on tv.
He's a pathological liar.
Brexit was never defined. The liars never explained it would be a process rather than an event. Leaving an agreement by treaty generally requires negotiation to secure any desired subsequent benefits and to maintain good relationships. The alternative is to unilaterally denounce the treaty and take the consequences. Getting Brexit done was a slogan to get Johnson into power. What he delivered was a leaving agreement with lots of issues unresolved and he was more than economical with the truth about some of the consequences, e.g., the Northern Ireland fiasco. Most of the trade agreements subsequently negotiated are carbon copies of what we already enjoyed through the EU. Some are disadvantageous to UK farmers, e.g., with Australia. What the Brexiteers never explained was that financial commitments made during our membership would have to be honoured so there is a massive payment annually to the EU. Little was done by Johnson to continue useful arrangements about scientific research, student exchanges, pensioners and others living in the EU, etc. The lie on the side of the Brexit bus (an overstated figure which took no account of Thatcher's rebate or the large grants made to poorer UK regions) never delivered for the NHS. Nor did the liers set out the many years of actions needed to salvage our economic future. The Tories have failed to manage immigration to provide additional workforce to replace that lost when EU citizens lost the right of free movement to work here. Johnson was as much a disaster as Truss in my view. God help us if the Tories put him in power again.
Nothing Johnson says can be trusted - end of.

I don’t see what that has to do with “gaslighting”.

Explains it: or am I missing a quirky joke your making
Johnson character is that awful, that I believe as do the majority Russia over him which says a hell of alot about Johnson and what he has done to this country/world considering what Putin is like

Difference is he has and continues to do untold damage to this country and the world so yes we will discuss what he is doing. Johnson has destroyed this country. Yes he had others alongside him however he is the architect

Why does anyone care what Boris says? He's a has-been, not someone anyone needs to listen to unless they get some kind of perverse enjoyment out of finding him annoying. 🤷🏻♀️
Sadly he’s not going anywhere ..so I am afraid he’s not a hasbeen .. he’s a disrupter at the moment .. rippling the political waters.. theBBC seem to promote his every move ( funny that ) and he has a huge following still .. and the love of Nadine of course ..
Surely one does not have to be a military expert to say that an attack on the UK would be an attack on Nato? There are no soft targets for Putin in Nato - I guess that's why he went for the Ukraine.
Let's stop talking about nuclear war. We can do nothing about it and it triggers the anxiety that has been with us since the '50's i.e. all my life!
I am very seriously considering taking out membership of the Tory party purely in order to be able to vote about who should be put forward for PM!
I don't suppose anyone will admit to being politically gaslit! 😂 (Sounds weird but gaslighted can't be right...)
It only took me a few seconds to remember Johnson’s record of lying to make himself sound important. The threat of ‘sending a missile’ sounds very vague. I reckon the Tories are just waiting for the next generation of Moggs and so on to come of age and take over from their elders!
I'd never believe anything he said, the Putin conversation sounds like pure fabrication

The readout of the conversation between Johnson and Putin. Was the threat to life not important enough to be recorded?
I think Boris is fantastic. The way he came to power then dealt with Brexit, Covid (suffering in intensive care himself), the search for a vaccine and Ukraine, was masterly. (And yes, I lost a family member to Covid too). I think and hope history will treat him kindly and look forward to welcoming him back as ur PM in the future.
Gosh. I had no idea how instrumental Johnson was in the creation of the covid vaccine.

Are you his sister? I can’t believe anybody else in the country can’t now see him for what he is.
Listen to what he says, and then think the exact opposite.
A rocket directed towards UK.? Where are the Russian submarines with such capability? They are circling like sharks all around us.

Perhaps it isn't mentioned because it didn't happen, Parsley3?
There will be a whole lots of Tories galloping along soon enough to tell us how much they trust Johnson, trust the Tories and believe everything they say..........and put all lies down to honest mistakes.

Hollycat the slight possibility that you might NOT be joking gives me the creeps.
