Yes, I have always felt sorry for Diana as she was so young and must have thought it was true love. Who can possibly know at age 20 that a love is fake? Especially in those days without the internet or a knowledge of red flags! I certainly did not understand at the same age about an abusive man I was involved with.

I really respected the Queen and I used to really like the monarchy but after the way he treated Diana, his very dodgy friends and the way he spoke to staff about the pen (imagine what he's like behind closed doors), it makes me feel sad Charles is King.

Camilla didn't cause any problems. She made Diana's life a misery.

Surely there’s a similarity between him and his mother, she also did things that pointed to mental health issues, eating problems, depression, supposedly falling downstairs for attention, hiding in car boots to meet blokes and definitely talking more and more freely as time went by. she became increasingly dangerous to the royal family

That's so sad Nanatoone . That can happen if the new partner does not like the parents or family. I've heard of lies being made up to separate the parents and their child by the new partner.

I don't see any way for a future for Harry and his family to resolve this, either.

I have a close frond who is estranged and she doesn’t even know why. She cannot do anything to rectify when she down not know what the issue is. It all went Pete tong when her son met a person. There had been a recent significant bereavement. After much upset and counselling she has decided not to beat herself up and to protect herself has withdrawn from the contest (as it appears to be). She’s so much better for making this decision even though she misses her beloved son. Sometimes there is no solution. Harry has created a situation which cannot be resolved, that’s so sad.

If Harry is so obsessed about being a second son and has such an inferiority complex, no wonder he could not hold onto a girlfriend for long. My sister had a boyfriend years ago, it was “poor me” continuously, thank goodness it didn’t last.

The Harry and Meghan saga could not have been worse if they planned it - perhaps it was planned, his revenge on the family he despised, the controversial wedding onwards.

Now he has started making accusations about Camilla which are entirely his own thoughts, I don’t see any way back now, it’s all too personal and vindictive.

It's not ok to try and take down your family, especially as the actions were calculated to damage (and put them in danger)

Most of us, if we had decided to estrange could simply do that and if we kept our mouths shut except for getting anon support online, we could avoid doing our families too much damage.

I'm sad about estrangement that has happened, but I know sometimes it's just too painful to go on. To withdraw, either for a time or not is completely different to calculatedly doing something that is sure to damage, maim (emotionally) or even kill (get someone killed)

The more that comes out the sadder I feel. I honestly could not give a hoot about H&M but I do feel for those who cannot speak up. I think it’s right to say nothing, they shouldn’t feed the trolls. I had 2 sons, one of whom was jealous of the other when younger. I saw it as normal sibling rivalry between 2 males quite close in age. As he matured he could see that I did not favour one above the other, but treated [and loved] them equally. There were advantages and disadvantages of being the elder or younger which he saw. But he grew up.

One though had the larger bedroom and one had the smaller. We all decided it was fair if they swapped bedrooms every now and then and we had fun doing that. So each got a turn to have the biggest until they were out a great deal of the time and weren't indoors a lot.

Neither has trashed their brother day in day out on the media, or petulantly cut their children off from the others. And have chosen their wives well after a long time of getting to know them.

Two damaged, entitled, spiteful people with personality disorders who [often quickly] get together [eg. H and M] often means big trouble for everyone who is in the firing line...as history has shown over and over again.
