Scotland's Gender Recognition Reform Bill to be debated today 20 Dec & voted on 21 Dec

Tbh, the number who voted for the amendments has surprised and encouraged me a tiny wee bit, I thought it would be far fewer.

I guess they don't care if the system is abused, and girls & women put at risk, as long as we get the Bill shoved through before Xmas.

The women in the viewing gallery were told they’d be arrested if they didn’t leave. I think they were allowed back in later. How anyone could vote against these amendments is beyond me. Imagine believing that known sex offenders won’t abuse the system, how naive or just plain stupid can you be?

IMO sense and logic are in very short supply throughout this GRR Bill Oreo.

As the amendment to prevent a convicted sex offender obtaining a GRC has already been turned down, I can't say I'm hopeful that the one to prevent someone waiting to go to trial for a sex offence from obtaining one, will be successful either FarNorth.

How can anyone reasonable vote against those amendments?
No sense or logic in it at all.
