I’m not every woman and I often disagree with the main flow of the thread, I have voted Tory in the past, at the last GE I did not. In my accessment Johnson was mendacious at best, misleading the voters with unrealistic policies. I do give him credit for the Covid vaccination programme, but the way that he handles controversy has been dishonest, creating big issues out of small ones.
Whoever becomes PM has to get the policy right or the Tories will loose the next election, voters want more cash in their pockets, in 2 yrs I don’t see higher taxes improving the economy to achieve that, so taxation needs to fall to satisfy voters.
Looking at the 3 front runners I don’t see a great leader that will inspire voters, wether the winner grows into one time will tell.
