You could be right.

I couldn’t open the link, but I have known for a long time that we can have no true democracy while the media have so much power. It is clearly evidenced by how many people voted for Brexit and Boris. The government undermine our welfare and health organisations to make people angry then newspapers tell them it’s immigration and benefits that are responsible. With so many uneducated people what hope do we have? Boris won the election because he promised to ‘get Brexit done.’ The people who voted for him honestly believed that Brexit would stop ‘foreigners’ coming over here to take all our jobs and houses.
