In his role as Minister for Government efficiency Jacob Rees Mogg is calling for civil servants to return to the office to "ensure we are making efficient use of the central London estate".
Surely if civil servants are able to work from home effectively (which this article suggests) then it will be more efficient for them to do so and to reduce the amount of taxpayers money spent on central London offices. It would also take the pressure off London Transport, reduce traffic and be better for the environment.
