My city too Ilovecheese and I'm ashamed to have them there. The only positive thing that the transactivist thugs did last night was to publicise their willingness to show violence and aggression to a roomful of women who wanted to talk about their FGM experiences, their childhood abuse and why single sex spaces are so important to them. But TRAs couldn't give a damn about them. It's what men want that matters and sod any one else. Manchester hang your head in shame.

What was Andy Turnham doing in all this? Has he made his feelings known on the issue, or is he another who has been cowed by the TRAs?

The Barbican now has toilets which are designated Disability, Male and Gender Neutral.
Anyone who thinks this is a good idea, please let us know why you think that.

So I was commenting that it was not peaceful.

It wasn't unexpected that it would be so unpleasant. Demonstrations of that kind are a regular feature at women's meetings.
I have never heard of similar, or any, demonstrations at trans meetings. Have you?

You'd think, wouldn't you? And given that women spend longer in there than men, we should have more provision, not less, to be 'equal'.

This has annoyed me ? It is as though women are being phased out.

It is, AGAA4. It gets disguised as 'being kind' to transpeople (and in itself there is nothing wrong with that), but in fact the TRA agenda is about erasing women. There is never any talk about 'being kind' to women who want or need single-sex spaces, or who want to have the vocabulary to discuss their bodies, or who want to have crimes committed against them by men recorded as such, or to have differences in income between men and women recorded by sex not so-called 'gender', etc.

Society seems to be going backwards where those with superior physical strength i.e. men can threaten violence or become violent to women who support the rights of women.

It would come under sex discrimination if it affected men and can you imagine the outcry if females all used the disability toilets?
I can picture “someone” or more than one “someone” shrieking discrimination for even thinking about it.

Wouldn't it depend on how many toilets were designated for each category? If there is only a urinal in the male toilet and lots of cubicals in the gender neutral it would actually just be mixed toilets.
If you were a parent with children of the opposite sex you might be quite pleased because you could all use the same one

I've just read that. Here's a revolutionary idea. Why don't the women go into the ones with a urinal when there is a queue? If they all go there will be no question of anyone feeling unsafe. Except perhaps the men using the urinal who really won't want a gang of women looking at them (some of them won't be able to pee!!)
