Just now listening to the IOPC report on the Met police.

It is no longer a case of bad apples it is endemic and widespread.

The cases quoted were just dreadful and ranged from anti-semtism, homophobia, misogyny and racist and unrepeatable on here. A bullying culture is also accepted throughout the institution.

Yesterday we had a prime minister who treated parliament with contempt, threatening our democratic processes.

When is it going to end?

It makes me wonder where all this ends too. The IOPC are bang on when they say this is no longer 'a few bad apples' and that it is far deeper and more widespread than that. All Police forces need to be vigilant to racist and misogynistic officers in their ranks, charge them with their offences and chuck them out of the police force. Name and shame those responsible. As for Boris. I bet Vladimir is shaking in this boots this morning now Boris has arrived to sort him out. Shaking with laughter, certainly not fear.
