How glad Boorish must have been to have the excuse to go to Kiev and pretend that he was some sort of statesman being involved in Putin etc. But whatever he said is totally worthless. Once you are proved a liar and a cheat your word is no longer your bond. Therefore he is totally useless to lead this country as nothing he says can be trusted or relied on.

Words matter. The word ‘party’ doesn’t appear at all in the report. Media are being totally misleading by the way they keep using the word ‘party’. A drink after work in the workplace does not constitute a party in my world.

An Abba themed event in your flat is definitely a party though, unless you have employed Benny and Bjorn to provide the UK with PPE perhaps, them being experts in that field of course.

Marjgran totally agree. However there is no suitable replacement that in any way appeals to the public - Truss and Sunak are not suitable at all - so where do they turn. No real grounds for keeping him but definitely a stumbling block to him going? Sacrifice all standards of decency and honesty instead seems to be the party line.

Watering down the bonfire of EU rules post Brexit to align with net zero green emissions will bring Boris down. His colleagues hate his stance (blaming Carrie for undue influence) and in my opinion it will be this that generates letters to Graham Brady and not ‘Partygate’ per se. I don’t think Boris will survive now. His refutation of some of Lord Frost’s proposals have done for him.

I've no idea where this all came from Lucca but if its true, and not just the imaginings of the fevered brain of a political commentator, then it means that the Tory Party wouldn't get rid of him for being a lying charlatan, but they would get rid of him for making policies that would help to avert the coming environmental disaster.

It appears Net Zero to be the post-pandemic smoke and mirrors to hid the many downsides of Brexit.

I am enjoying very much the idea that it is Net Zero that will mean 'He is unpopular now'. Not any of the other stuff then, but the Net Zero.

If Boris was Green then he wouldn't be allowing his MPs to vote wholesale for flushing sewage into our waterways.

From everything I read and hear Boris was voted in as a Tory but as a Brexit machine.
