My DH was born and brought up in Glasgow. Up till a few years ago he was frequently through there on business. However, he had to go through to Glasgow last week and was genuinely shocked at the state of it. He said the streets were dirty and rubbish strewn and was very disappointed at his 'dear green place' in such a terrible condition. What's gone wrong? There are petitions to sack their council leader I see. A bad time for such dirty linen in public. A bad time for poor Glasgow.

I am hoping to visit Glasgow next year. I really want to see The Burrell Collection before I run out of time. It’s many years since I was there (apart from passing through on my way north) and I’m sure there will be many changes.

Blossoming, the Burrell Museum is being refurbished and is behind schedule, due to Covid.
My future DIL ( the one who got my craft stash) is heavily involved in this. It sounds as if it will be worth visiting!
