I'll be first to criticise the government but continual dire warnings about everything and anything, eventually all merge into one.

If the government bails out industry it’s we, the taxpayers, who foot the bill whilst the head honchos and shareholders continue to do very nicely.

When I’m told that we have run out of gas then I’ll think about what I’m going to do. While it’s a possibility it doesn’t concern me.

It looks like a lot of countries are going back to coal power as there is not enough energy from renewable sources. All these promises about zero carbon emission could be just that because our renewables can’t cope.

This is a global problem, with greater ramifications to this country then worrying about just Brexit.
By all means use it to vent personal anger at the situation.

But a full discussion should include why the USA is better prepared, what part Russia and China have played, and what decisions this and past governments have made to bring this situation about.

Yes your right MaizeD I should have used a different word or phrase.

My panic glands are just overworked...

But I do still get just a bit agitated by the approach that we're running out of gas so renewables are to blame.
