Those who say we don’t know them, or it’s none of our business, or posters are nasty, and shouldn’t be commenting, I would say, sorry, but posters can comment if they want to, and they don’t have to check that anyone on here thinks their comment is acceptable. It’s called free speech. Other posters are free to disagree if they want to.
The simple fact is that Harry and Meghan have put themselves out there, and the consequence of that is that people will judge what say or do. And because they’ve put themselves out there, people are free to comment in whatever way they like.
With regard to myself, I think they’ve made a choice to give the baby a name which will link her forever to the royal family. I think that was intended because they need the royal family connections to keep on doing what they are doing. Without the royal family they would have nothing to sell.
The name Lili is lovely, and Diana is hardly a surprise. It’s the name Lilibet that has caused the comments, for very good reasons. It may be a popular name in America, but it is not here in Britain, yet. No doubt it will be soon.
