BBC Reporting

Was anybody else annoyed by the BBC coverage of the Wuhan's New Year's Eve celebrations?

I felt a bit miffed to say the least. I've not been a big blamer of China for the Covid infection. But to report their celebrations on the news as though it was wonderful to see (the newsreader even had a smile on her face) was a bit much to stomach.

I didn't see the ITV coverage but can imagine Tom Bradby finishing off his report with a very dry 'Yes, well'.
