What will channel swimmers do now? Has anyone, at any time spared a thought for channel swimmers. They are the forgotten collateral damage of,well, just about everything. Probably won’t even be able to get goose fat, either.

Actually if it gets very serious the plan to nip over isn’t quite so daft really. A group could pay for the shuttle fare and someone with a good sized car could nip over. It’s only 35 mins in shuttle and citi de Europe is 5 minutes away.
