Is Chris Whitty shrinking? ?

He looks worn out, poor chap, and in need of a decent meal and a good night’s sleep.

I don't know why - but he seems strangely tortoise-like to me, so not surprised he's single!

he does look like he may have lost weight recently.

I agree Maybee79. JVT is great. Chris Whitty is a good man too though. I was speaking to someone who's worked with him and she was full of praise for him. A clever hard working man who's not necessarily glamorous. I hope he's not been ill. Could that be why he's shrunk and disappeared a bit recently?

I think he should have spoken up against Cummings, unlike Jonathan van Tam who did. And he knows it. JVT was sidelined for it but, imo they now use him most of the time because people trust him. Well, I do anyway.

But who do you suggest takes over his role, Hetty58?

He does look weird, but once he speaks I'm hooked. Such an eminent scientist.
Apparently he doesn't have a wife (or partner?), so maybe no one is sorting out his wardrobe for him of feeding him up a bit.
