As for the number of tests being done, one quarter of all the tests to date have been sent out by post. These tests may never be used or returned for analysis. The figures for the 25th May ( I admit a bank holiday) show that the total of 109,979 tests recorded for that day includes the 49,503 tests posted out. On the government's own website they only confirm just over one million people having been tested.

We have 4 more bloody years of this.

Astonishing that the Prime Minister seems to have no idea what “no recourse to public funds” means.

The more he waffles on, the more I am reminded of Bertie Wooster confronted by Aunt Agatha. Unfortunately, instead of Jeeves hovering in the background we have the abominable Cummings.

The figures for yesterday's tests have been released. 58% of the tests were sent out, 68,312 out of 117, 013. It's the only way they've managed to ramp up to the target figures for testing.

Surely he has to run out of er er ers soon!

At the weekend, 7 am to be precise, taking a daily walk to a nearby Cornish beach usually empty at that time I was surprised at the number of people already there. Hearing the various dialects,I doubt these people were local, which confirmed they must had travelled many miles, some maybe overnight, and confirmed by the varying car number plates on the crowded beach side car park. Some of the occupants being, no doubt ,among those now complaining about a gov minister travelling to see his family.
