Writing in the sky. The Dept. Of Transport is thinking of the£££.

Is it yet another way of making money? I'm sure there will be some sky writing business out there who has made/will make a donation to the Tories in response.

Apparently the Department of Transport plans to allow sky writing again.
At a time when many of us are enjoying quieter skies, one of the upsides of the virus, this seems bonkers.
What are they thinking?
We are supposed to be encouraging less use of fossil fuels aren’t we?
I saw this reported yesterday and today Libby Purves has written a column in the Times.
