GagJo, this was never going to go well. The Great British public in general would rather cut off their own arm than admit they were wrong
I'm afraid you are right Starblaze. There is a lot of fingers in ears and of la, la, la-ing on this thread. Absolutely no comment on what he has done. Let's not worry about the truth. As May would say, nothing has changed with these people lacking knowledge and almost abhorring its acquisition.
We ought to be knowledgeable. Democracy is in need of knowledge. The person lacking in knowledge is victim to those who pretend to be knowledgeable or pretend to be. ... We saw this in Plato. Lack of knowledge makes us such an ignorant mass, susceptible to the shimmering whip of the trainer. If we do not know we cannot know whether what is discussed is valid. *
This is all an obvious truth to those who have been educated to appreciate and understand the value of knowledge in our knowledge society. For those stuck in the industrial age, they seem to wear a lack of knowledge as a badge of honour and thus we get:
same old, same old from the same one, same one
All of the above points are fairytales.
definitely prefer Boris to President Xi!
Scaremongering and room and gloom!
For goodness sake stop the melodramatic catastrophising.
Will you be posting your daily anti-Boris thread tomorrow ...
Is the OP someone else with a new name - just wondering!
Not a single denier saying why the OP isn't true or giving more knowledge that limited the concerns about Johnson doing these things. It is all about denying that the new Emporer has no clothes. These posts are simply telling us that truth is wicked and knowledge is despised if it upsets these people or their strongly-held beliefs.
