I do hope that all these people so anxious that the Conservatives should be kept up to the mark are being equally active in holding their party and its leaders to account over the way they threw their best opportunity in a long time away by sticking to a leader, who was disliked and despised so widely.
In the Observer today, MPs, ex MPs and political commentators were saying how badly he played in the northern and midland constituencies the party lost. The army has provided employment for so many men in those areas and most families have family or people in their wider social networks who are ex forces, Corbyn's pacifist, pro-terrorist, anti- British stance played very badly in the areas where most seats were lost. His dog biscuit of the day offers also played badly with many people feeling they were being 'bought' like s supermarket offer, with no explanation of how it could be afforded.
I have never met a worse set of losers than the defeated Labour party this time round. They convinced themselves they could win, shot themselves in both feet and still expected to set a new record in the 100 m sprint and are now blaming the timekeeeper because they didn't.
