Indeed sirchenjin. Many of us don't want either of them. Being unhappy with the coronation of Johnson does not by any stretch make me a supporter of Corbyn. Although some of you may see things in a binary way and are delighted that you have your man in place telling you he will deliver what you think you voted for,even more of us are unrepresented due to the unpalatable choices of Johnson or Corbyn. But don't let that spoil your celebration.

Sturgeon was leader way before AS resigned.

I don't think anyone is questionning the rights or wrongs of a leadership contest - this has far wider implications for the UK for many years to come than GB taking over from TB, for example, and that's what people are up in arms about. That, and the fact that BJ has been put in charge of this fiasco.

I actually think you're being very generous to the man. I don't think he's decisive at all, and he's certainly not someone who commands respect. He played the fool for too long, and now it's coming back to haunt him. He's offended too many people and hasn't the influencing power to take them with him in a short space of time, so he will now have to try and force through an unworkable situation which will be voted down by Parliament. Not so intelligent really - unless your definition of intelligent is a low one, of course.

I am deeply concerned at the prospect of this idiotic man being PM, and could I point out to his slavish disciples that it is not just left wingers who are unhappy about his coronation,many lifetime Tories are too. Irrespective of my political beliefs and of my remain stance I still consider him unfit for the very responsible position he has finally won. OH BJ has his detractors, always has, but we must not forget that behind a rather bumbling, blustering facade lies a very intelligent man. He's not the greatest orator, that's certainly not his strength, but I think he is decisive and will go forward knowing what he has to do in a relatively very short space of time.

What we do need now is decisiveness. Johnson will have the knives coming at him from every angle. His Premiership is going to be extremely difficult.

However, what is more important is - we are going to see very clearly within the next three months if the HOC, our parliament, is going to bring us to stalemate again, and look out for themselves, rather than come together to get forward movement on Brexit. They all signed in agreement to leave the EU.

Now we will see what they are made of.

We could be seeing the end of the two party system of politics in Westminster if the HOC and Bercow (a complete disgrace) continue to block progress.

If Johnson fails, he'll take many, many political careers with him, from all parties, and rightly so.
