"It couldn’t have happened anyway because Gordon Brown lost the election, if a coalition took place it had to be with the Conservatives."--
Blimey don't you remember the behind the door shenanigans of Gordon Brown trying to get the Lib Dems on side to keep him in power in 2010?? Gordon Brown holed himself up in No 10 hoping for a Labour / Lib Dem coalition, it went on for ages.
The Lib Dems were the King Makers in 2010 and Coalition / Supply and Demand will be the name of the day under Proportional Representation.
That's why I ask the question what truly is gained by Proportional Representation if the ' principle' is to only accept it if it agrees with what individuals want, their political party in power.
To complain about this, that, tuther party being in a Coalition / Supply and Demand is only that ' complaining ' because you don't like the Political Parties involved. Hypocrisy.
