Well TM has been heckled and told to go (to a round of applause) at the Welsh Conservative Conference.
It is getting rather embarrassing, and I am a Tory!!

“It is said that those whom the gods wish to destroy they first make mad”
This is a quote in a newspaper editorial, which I thought extremely apt.
The editorial is headed
“Britain is being ruled by a party that has lost its political bearings”
Goes on to outline the reckless ill discipline so evident in the government, and in particular the leak over the Huawei decision, which defied two of the fundamental rules of British government -
Collective responsibility and official secrecy.
We can rely on neither of those concepts with this dreadful government.
If a government fails in such fundamentals it has failed completely.
Well TM has been heckled and told to go (to a round of applause) at the Welsh Conservative Conference.
It is getting rather embarrassing, and I am a Tory!!
She should go and take Jeremy with her!
We deserve far better than those two no hopers

Whoops!
was for ABB. Not subsequent comments...
I watched the clip GG I heard the heckler booed and he was escorted from the room
It gets even worse when you watch the BbC 4 programme about behind the doors at brexit.
Tories should never be trusted with anything ever again. Incompetence doesn’t cover it.
There is no one who should be leader. They need a whole new set of MPs
Can anyone remember when any business or vote was last last carried out in HoC?
This government is so weak and without any authority whatsoever, that it is unable to legislate.
May ruled last the time that this parliamentary session would last for 2 years. Remember the Queen in her EU hat?
If this government is unable to govern surely the Queen should prorogue Parliament. The problem of course is that May can never get a queens speech through.
In my view this government is illegitimate
Peston.
“At 299 days this is the longest parliamentary session since the English civil war 1642-51. It is noticeable for the paucity if it’s legislation, and it’s total failure to complete its one task of Brexit”
The fact that the Conservative Govt. has not passed any legislation recently seems a bit of a silver lining to this Brexit cloud.
Meanwhile £trillions of assets are being moved out of the U.K.
uk.reuters.com/article/uk-britain-eu-banks/trillion-pounds-of-assets-leave-london-ahead-of-brexit-ey-idUKKCN1R114E?fbclid=IwAR3OGxMuUh1pIiXSuNsQL7iftu7EmYXBEP6HtsRk7_SSt8busjUNQDForro
I’d read crystaltipps that money was leaving the U.K. as businesses were wary of Corbyn being in charge.
Urmstongran I agree that is what I have read and heard, Lord Sugar is an example.
Mrs May was indeed offered a ‘free trade deal’ by Brussels, but she was also told that the UK’s future trading arrangements could not compromise the external border of the EU in Ireland or lead to ‘cherry-picking’ the benefits of EU membership.
So she first precipitously ruled it out and then took far too long to understand that the European Union would stand its ground over British demands to have their cake and eat it.
The EU came up with a plan to make an FTA possible in the absence of ‘alternative arrangements’ delivering an invisible Irish border, by leaving Northern Ireland effectively in the single market and customs union, while Great Britain was free to go its own buccaneering way.
Mrs May turned this offer down under pressure from both the Democratic Unionist Party and Scottish Tories, because it would have put a ‘de-dramatised’ trade border in the Irish Sea. (Some NI trade groups estimate it would require just 13 extra lorry checks a day, but that was still her choice.)
Instead, Mrs May, against the better judgement of the EU’s lawyers, persuaded the EU to create an all-UK customs arrangement that would avoid splitting the UK’s internal market, should trade talks not deliver the invisible border mentioned above.
Which is why the blame for this mess ultimately lies at Mrs May’s door. Nigel Farage can promise a no-strings ‘free trade deal’ and a ‘WTO-Brexit’ because he is filling a thought-vacuum that Mrs May created.
I wish that no-one votes for any Labour Tory or Lib Dem politician next time.
If they get no votes then they can't sit in Parliament.
I will vote either Green or Independent because why let this rotten lot back in?
Lets give them all a big shock and make them unemployed.
and while this never ending Brxit mess goes on the NHS is being sold off on the quiet.
That was a law made by the Tories that no-one has stopped.
Also we need the Post Office back. Our local one is about to close because it is not the only shop in the village. It is going to make life miserable and difficult for many people......so Tory and Coalition laws continue to decimate our country and destroy our lives while the attention is on the Drama.
The Tories may not be passing any new laws but harm is still ongoing
Mrs May was indeed offered a ‘free trade deal’ by Brussels
When was this, Ug?
Mrs May turned this offer down under pressure from both the Democratic Unionist Party and Scottish Tories,
She had to because she depended on their votes to keep her government going. As the whole objective of this ghastly exercise was first and foremost to keep the tory party together and to keep them in power she had no alternative. You really have to bear in mind that this was always May's priority.
Nigel Farage can promise a no-strings ‘free trade deal’ and a ‘WTO-Brexit’
He can promise all he damn well likes but he isn't, and won't be, in government so his promises are worthless.
Also we need the Post Office back.
You do make me laugh, Ug. Nige won't give it back to you. Royal Mail is now privately owned; government have no control over it. The only way you'd be likely to get it back would be if Labour were to get into government and they renationalised it and decreed a Post Office in every town and village. Royal Mail would then lose loads of money because most of its functions have moved on line. Then everyone would complain about having a loss making public service.
If you've usually voted tory, this is what you've voted for...shrinking public services.
Oops! Apologies, Ug I've conflated posts from two different posters.
Please take the remarks about the Post Office as being directed at pinkquartz
Ball v Johnson
First day of the hearing in which Johnson is accused of lying and mal-practice during the referendum.
I expect he’ll get off.
I expect he has a very good (or at least very expensive) lawyer
Assets being moved out of U.K. because of all the uncertainty over Brexit, not because anyone really thinks Jeremy Corbyn will take over ( that’s Project Fear isn’t it?) . Whichever way you look at it, Brexit has already cost billions and has only been good for millionaire asset strippers and dealers, plus the bookies.
Apparently Brokenshire has more ovens in his kitchen than affordable houses built in his constituency last year.
