I don't think Jeremy can do smart, even when he is attending a ceremonial occasion (trousers too long etc).

It did look more like a mackintosh than an anorak to me. However, wearing the mac without a hood would have looked much better and the usual colour to wear is black. I was searching for a smart black mackintosh for DH to no avail, as last year his smart black overcoat got drenched.

Corbyn did bow and look respectful when he laid the wreath, so he is trying.

I know clothes aren’t that important, but I thought it was disrespectful, if he couldn’t be bothered he should have stayed away.
