I take his meaning to be whether or not there is a hard or soft border that won't stop those Irish men / women who are presupposed to terrorism from using weapons. I think he has a point.
I think he is a daft old man and I can see where his son gets it from now. What the hell does he think the GFA has been doing for the last 20 years?
