I notice that they are adaptable as well (thinking of Lidl, as we don't have an Aldi). At one time they just seemed to sell own brand produce, but now stock popular, if a limited range, of items.
As there is now more demand for GF foods, I notice they have a reasonable stand in our quite small Lidl.
And, of course, there are the centre aisles, full of DIY stuff that DH didn't realise he needed until he saw it, so we don't save that much if we do go there.
Then there is 'Greek week' etc etc.
