The problem in the labour party is that there are a number of Blairite MPs who cannot accept that the party has democratically changed its underlying policy position and with that it's leadership.

I am one who does not feel that Jeremy Corbyn has led the party well regarding Brexit and the antisemitism issues. However, there are obviously many party members in the district and constituency parties that still have great belief in those present policies, and they prevail as the majority at this point in time and in that wish to retain Corbyn as leader to present those policies.

The parties present policies also have the support of the wider Labour movement along with the current leader. The trade unions are demonstrating some frustration with the Corbyn leadership on the two above issues. However, even if Corbyn were to be replaced as Labour party leader, the present policies would remain as there will be no going back to the Blair policies that so failed Labours grassroots members and working families throughout Britain.

Therefore, the remaining Blairite MPs and others with Blairite views in the party need to accept all the above and that things have very much changed

The constituency parties have the right under rule to select or deselect who it is that represents them in parliament. As long as that action is carried out democratically, then should the majority of a constituency party feel that their current MP does not represent their views or fully support current party polices then to deselect that MP is justified.

In short, those blairite MPs and others should cut out the whinging and whining and accusations of bullying etc and move on into the present Labour world. Blair and his policies are gone and they ain't coming back.

Oh dear Greta I think you'll find that Scotland subsidises England if you look at the FACTS .Why else do you think Westminster is so desperate to hang into us,why did they move 6000square miles of OUR coastal waters to be included as English/ strange isn't it that English coastal waters now reach almost to Aberdeen!!Thast not even counting the Scottish exports counted as English as they go through English ports ,thats several billions of Whisky for starters .I do wish the English public knew the truth .Scotland could easily be self sufficient without us having to hand over ALL our revenue and get pocket money back from WM .Oil from Scottish waters has kept the UK afloat for over 40 years .OUR government balances its books ,every year .WE dont have borrowing facilities so all the borrowing is done by Westminster government and spent by them too .

If centrist MPs were brave enough to speak out we may find out what their aims and policies might be.

Labour backbencher Chuka Umunna has accused leader Jeremy Corbyn of driving centre-left MPs out of the party, urging him to "call off the dogs “.

I think it is quite clear that Chuka Umunna (probably among others)is talking about “bullying.”
At least one of the Labour MPs who lost the no-confidence motion in their constituency was quoted as saying this was orchestrated by Labour HQ.
(Don’t ask me which, I was driving at the time and it the first I had heard of it)

As I have already said those criticising might actually try setting out their own beliefs and how they conflict with the ones held by what they refer to as the "Hard left" until they do so it is just a lot of hot air and name calling. If that's what they want fair enough, if those are the standards of free speech you accept. Personally I would prefer a little more reasoned argument and a little less personal condemnation.

I would also like to know what the policies of the so called "centre left" actually are.
Is it to continue with selling off social housing?
Is it to continue with austerity?
Is it to continue with failed and expensive PFI contracts?
Is it to continue with privatising our public services?
We have already got those policies in a Conservative/DUP Government.

How can any party member be accused of sticking their nose in if they voice their opinions on party matters ? Are we here sticking our noses in? When I write to HQ am I sticking my nose in? No, this is freedom of speech, to condemn, critcise or praise . Fact.

Could we perhaps hear what these "centrist" ideas are? because if involves PPI contracts, privatising anything that's still publicly owned, cutting or restricting access to benefits or taking us into an illegal war That ain't "centrist" it's right wing. No comments about Mr Blair taking money from Saudi. And Mr Blair surely proves "you can fool some of the people...." We believed he was for Labour he wasn't. He was and is only for Mr Blair.

There is already a centre of left party, it’s called the Lib Dem’s.

All we hear from Corbyn is the number of Labour Party members, he seems to think only party members can vote in the general election.

All these problems in the party takes away attention from Corbyn’s silence on the campaign for ‘the people’s vote’

I think Corbyn missed an opportunity to come out in favour of Leave. At the time he was very much a new leader, still wet behind the ears, known for his anti-EU stance.

Then he’s suddenly, as Leader, has to take into consideration the views of the Labour Party, which was somewhat Remain.

That’s a hard line to walk.

I see I’m not going to get an answer simply because there is none. Best if people don’t throw out wild accusations unless they can back them up as a general rule of thumb.
