There are certainly older people who think they know best and can tell people of any age what to do and what to think, I do agree with you on that one though!

In my opinion Corbyn was one of the few who showed seriousness and dignity.
I thought that Keir Starmer showed seriousness and dignity.

Very impressed by him; I thought he lacked charisma but who needs charisma? We need intelligence, thoughtfulness and an extensive knowledge of home and world affairs in a leader.

The general public is not privy to much evidence that is known by government(s). Why should we be?

In the last election - you might like to check because this comes from memory - the Tories got 42% of the votes and the LP got 40%. This was an election where the LP started 20 points behind. I hope the Tories go on believing that the Labour Party cannot win, Primrose. It will make it easier to pull this country back from the far right and towards the centre.

What will pull the country back to the left of centre will be a new and less controversial leader of the LP.
One with the experience, intelligence and knowledge to know how to lead the country forward.

In fact, there are probably more working pensioners now (pro rata) than in previous generations.
Surely, if one has worked for 45+ years no-one would resent a person retiring?
Do we tell the younger generation what to do?
I don't know anyone of my acquaintance who does that.
We know exactly what it was like to try to keep a roof over our heads, bring up a family, make do, so we will hardly criticise the 40 somethings who are now doing the same. They're doing a great job - in many cases with our help.

Corbyn is not a spring chicken, last time I looked at him anyway.

Well, I never boast about my IQ , little to boast about , and I never put people down because of their lack of intelligence, had my spelling errors corrected to often here to mock anyone else, too cruel.

The BBC Newsnight last night used a photoshopped photo of Corbyn. They replaced his usual hat with a Russian fur hat and placed him in front of a red tinted photo of Moscow.

Most interesting Primrose, shouldn't be to much of a problem for the two Welsh MP's , at the last election we canvassed as Welsh Labour and had Carwyn Jones on our fliers . Ŵell if Momentum doesn't work at getting them reselected. I do worry for Ben Bradshaw
